Too slow to satisfy Metaverse requirements

Current Internet is based on TCP/IP layered design. Initially it was meant for Web text and image. Nowadays, Internet traffic over 80% is video, less than 20% remains data and image. Because of this paradigm shift in traffic nature, video transport on current Internet is too slow to satisfy AI Metaverse quest for high-definition and low latency real-time communication.

Too heavy and too expensive to expand

Current Internet is fully equipped with all standard-based physical equipment such as router, switch, and module. It’s impossible to change Internet protocol nor network hardware. Therefore, the only way to increase Internet speed is to deploy more hardware, dig out more tunnels, lay more underground fiber and submarine cable, add more router switch. However, this is extremely expensive yet inefficient.
